A Winning Philosophy

The Canadian Gaming Association was created with the fundamental goal of creating balance in the public dialogue about gaming in Canada.

The Association’s mandate is to create a better understanding of the gaming industry by bringing facts to the general public, elected officials, key decision makers and the media through education and advocacy. The CGA speaks to important national and regional issues as the voice of Canada’s gaming entertainment industry.

Our Place In Gaming

The CGA publicly represents Canada’s gaming industry. The Association has established relationships with governmental agencies and industry stakeholders on multiple issues, including responsible gaming policies and practices; codes of conduct and social responsibilities.

Our roles and functions include:

• Serving as the industry’s national information source by providing accurate gaming industry data.
• Developing industry wide programs and approaches for critical issues such as responsible gaming.
• Addressing legislative and regulatory issues affecting our members their employees and customers.
